Since IAS is capped at 133% and in HM foes are running at 133% normal attack speed will a skill like Reckless Haste increaste foes attack speed?

Certainly it should still cause the foes to miss 25% of the time, but will they actually be swinging faster?

They will attack faster,if they dont have a skill that makes them attack faster ontop of the HM buff they get.

Even if they don't gain the additional attack speed, it's secondary effects will still activate. I can confirm because I use it all the time.

i was under the understanding that in HM RH does not make them attack any faster since attack rate is already maxed, but yes the 50% miss is still in effect.

The increase in attack speed appears somewhat random and theres probably no way of knowing what particular foes attack faster.It leaves a question mark over the "complete" viability of reckless in HM but it is evidently still very usefull,and will still increase attack speeds(+ provide miss chances) unless i fail at math

Both wiki's state that in HM speed is increased by 33-50% which would mean that RH is still viable as an IAS+miss chance. It's all contradicting itself

What part exactly is the contradiction?

If the attack speed of foes is increased anywhere from 33-50%, and the max attack speed attainable through skills is 133%, then Reckless Haste would never result in an IAS on any monster in HM. This also means that it has no disadvantage to you the caster, as it can only lower the damage output of the target instead of possibly increasing it as it does in normal mode.

So if foes are using Illusionary Weaponary, which does not miss and is armor ignoring as its an enchantment, then RH in HM will basically essentially nothing.

Basically, yes. It will cost 15 energy to cast, and will hex them, but neither of the effects will actually affect them.

with the way that UW SC are being ran today, RH is completely pointless b/c of SF. why would you want some1 to fail at attacking 50% of the time when the already fail 100% of the time? there for RH is POINTLESS in HW when using SF. it's only point is to waste energy and hex foes. the horse is dead. now stop beating it.
